The state's biggest electric utility wants to help convert
your home or business into a solar-power producer. In a filing
with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Public Service
Electric & Gas yesterday proposed providing $100
million for loans to residents, businesses and public facilities
to install solar panels. The initiative is designed to help
New Jersey achieve its goal of supplying 20 percent of its
