Committees
MSEIA established
four Standing Committees to work with the officers to help
the organization better respond to the growing number of
issues that our industry is confronting. The committees below
enable MSEIA to get more input from the members and in that
way identify the most critical issues that need to be addressed
and the positions that best serve our members. Each committee
is made up of member volunteers. The committees are:
Policy - to drive policy that encourages the use of
solar and reduces or eliminates barriers to its widespread
deployment. This includes issues on incentives, net metering,
and interconnection such as the interconnection standards and
AEPS in Pennsylvania and the New Jersey RPS extension.
Program - to address implementation and maintenance
of existing programs. This includes issues like rebate levels,
the New Jersey Interconnection Working Group, OCE program rules
and procedures.
Organization - to address how to make MSEIA most effective
in serving its members. This includes issues like improving
communications, new members, fundraising, public outreach,
and other services and programs for the members.
R&D and Manufacturing - to create new incentives
to encourage solar related manufacturing in the Mid-Atlantic
region, and to support industry efforts with R&D investments.
We encourage every member organization to volunteer members
for these committees. |
